Guido Privacy Policy

Guido is designed to work entirely on your device and your local network. The app itself does not send telemetry or other data to our servers. If you choose to create a Guido account, only the information described below is stored.

Information We Collect

If you create a Guido account, we collect your email address and a password (stored using secure password hashing). We do not collect any other personal information.

Telemetry Data

Guido receives live telemetry from your simulator (Gran Turismo 7 or Assetto Corsa Competizione) over your local network and displays it on screen. This data never leaves your local network and is not stored or transmitted by the app.

Microphone

Guido may access your microphone (with your permission) to support push-to-talk voice commands and, where enabled, hands-free wake-word listening. Audio is captured only while you are actively using a voice feature and is processed on-device by a speech recognition model that ships with the app. It is not recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.

Account Data and Deletion

Your Guido account consists of only your email address and password. To request deletion of your account and its associated data, see the account deletion page. We process deletion requests within 30 days, as required by Google Play policy.

Local Storage

Guido stores a small set of preferences on your device — such as your preferred speed and temperature units, a manually entered simulator address, and the last simulator used. This information stays on your device and is only used to personalize the app. You can clear it by uninstalling the app or clearing its app data.

Permissions

Guido uses the following permissions, solely for the features described above:

• Internet / network state — to receive telemetry from your simulator over the local network.
• Microphone — for on-device voice commands.

Third-Party Services

Guido contains no third-party advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. The app is distributed through the Google Play Store; Google may collect information about installations and updates in accordance with Google's own privacy policy.
